This position is responsible for helping support all of the various marketing tasks related to our current lines of business. We’re seeking someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and solve problems. This position works 80% remotely, with 20% of the time spent visiting clients, attending photoshoots, and other events. The ideal candidate lives in the ASHEVILLE, NC area and is capable of making visits to clients.

Expectations & Responsibilities for the Marketing Assistant:

  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns for the business and numerous clients
  • Active (daily) awareness of campaign performance for assigned accounts.
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials, social content, and other collateral
  • Work closely with the strategy team to plan, execute, and implement marketing creative.
  • Work closely with the strategy team to effectively plan and execute campaigns that are in alignment with team goals.
  • Help analyze trends across campaigns to identify what is and isn’t working.
  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as client events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends
  • Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, blog articles, and press releases
  • Work with clients via email, phone, and video call to provide assistance & collaborate on project requirements.
  • Manage & Assigned tasks, projects, and due dates within the project management system
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs

Qualifications for Marketing Assistant

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing or advertising role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus

This position starts out as a full-time contracted position (36-40 hours per week) with room to grow as the company grows. Compensation is $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience.
